As we look forward to 2023, we maintain a preference for equities over other asset classes. The prevailing market consensus is that inflation has now peaked, and that rates will therefore peak by the middle of 2023.
Zurich’s Pension, PRSA, Investment and Savings products offer a range of underlying investment funds which are managed internally by Zurich or by one of our external fund manager partners. These funds are classified as either Article 6 or Article 8 under Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) with the full list available in the Zurich Fund Guide Brochure.
The Finance Act 2022 was enacted on 15 December 2022. Amongst other changes to pensions, the Act confirmed that the Benefit in Kind for an employee, which was previously triggered by an employer contribution to a PRSA, has been removed. This has come into effect on the 1 January 2023.
The latest addition to our Signature free ‘OnlineApply’ offering – Single Premium PRSAs is now available. Built on the same platform as our signature free Personal Pensions, Savings and Income Protection products, this is a quick, easy, and innovative way to submit business to Zurich.
Please note that payments made via EFT (Electronic Funds Transfer) to these accounts once closed will be not be transacted. Please also note that most EFT payments are usually settled on the next business day, however, some EFT payments may take longer and this should be factored into the timing of the payment and the closing of the accounts on 10th February.
