Broker Newsletter
September 2021

As we move into what is traditionally the busiest time of the year, we’d like to thank you for the enduring commitment and support you’ve given to Zurich over the years, and in particularly the last 18 months. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding as we adapted our business to cater for a significant increase in business, and the challenges of working from home. This year alone we have increased staff numbers across our Service Teams by more than 30% and while recruiting and training staff in 2021 has been complex, we took this important step to ensure we could better meet your needs.

As we move into October, many of our operational teams are now back in the office, and this will help us as we enter the key Pension tax deadline period. However, we also need your support. We ask that when you send us business, you make every effort to include all information and documents when first submitting the application. This will make it easier and faster for us to process the business for you and your client.

We hope you can continue to support our products and dedicated staff. In return, you can be assured that we’ll remain fully focused across all our teams on working with you across key areas:

  • Delivering market leading investment outperformance for your clients
  • Supporting you through your key point of contact – your Zurich Broker Consultant
  • Providing regular webinars which are based on what you want to hear about
  • Product design and innovation including our easy ZTSL trustee solution for Executive and Group Pensions, and our digitised online savings product.
  • Providing great value to your customers on our market leading protection products
  • Listening to the important feedback that is provided by Financial Brokers directly to us

Looking ahead, it is an exciting time for the Life & Pensions industry and for Financial Brokers in particular. We expect many changes in the Pensions market in the coming years, and we believe that Financial Brokers are best positioned to guide their customers through these changes. One thing is for sure, you can rely on the full support and commitment of Zurich to ensure that the role of the Financial Broker is championed at all times.

As always, if you have any questions regarding any of the topics in this newsletter please do not hesitate to contact your Zurich Broker Consultant.
