We are delighted to announce that we have further strengthened our underwriting expertise with the recruitment of Mark Cree. Mark is well known to Financial Brokers as an industry expert within Income Protection underwriting and joins us from Aviva (previously Friends First) where he was a key part of their team. Mark brings 30 years’ experience and industry knowledge to Zurich – he is looking forward to speaking to Financial Brokers over the coming weeks.

He is the latest addition to Zurich’s Underwriting Team, that has been steadily increasing in size over the last year. Speaking about the recent recruitment, Colette Houton, Zurich’s Head of Underwriting said “Mark is a great addition to our team. When we launched Income Protection in December, we knew that we’d soon have to expand the team, and to get someone of Mark’s calibre is fantastic and a great win for us. Our team now has 10 senior underwriters, 3 underwriters and 20 support staff, all focused on speedily delivering protection policies.”
