The Zurich Investment Outlook is produced twice yearly by the team at Zurich Investments, based in Dublin, Ireland. This publication provides an in-depth insight into our current thinking and positioning, and expands on the reasons behind our economic views. You can download the latest Investment Outlook document titled 'Bumpy road ahead?' and a shorter snapshot version below. We hope that you will find this information useful and if you have any questions or feedback please do not hesitate to contact me at firstname.lastname@example.org
The title of any publication should either inform or intrigue; ideally both. As this year’s suggests we do see a bumpy road ahead for the coming year, but we continue to remain biased to risk assets with equities likely to do better than the major alternatives.
Whilst the latest bout of COVID induced volatility should subside in time, markets are finely poised with shifting inflation expectations and the potential for a policy misstep contributing to a possible bumpy road ahead.
David Warren, Chief Investment Officer at Zurich Investments was joined by colleagues John McDermott and Anthony Conroy to review 2021, and discuss their view of where 2022 may take investment markets. If you missed it, don't worry, you can catch-up with a recording.
